Authentic African mud cloth pillow
Mud cloth or bogolanfini is a hand woven, hand stitched and hand-dyed by African artisans in Mali. No two pieces are alike. Hand woven strips of cotton are stitched together to form one large rectangular textile, then designs are hand drawn with a special mud. Each cloth will have inconsistencies and imperfections. Sometimes there may be areas where the stitching has come undone. The back panel is a washed canvas/cotton fabric There is a zipper closure along the bottom. This decorative pillow cover fits a 20×20″ insert (not included).
